as usual, this extended was soo much fun

thursday night, we went to the bowling alley to play pool...the table was located in a place for 18+ but i got in anywayz, cuz i was with a bunch of college ppl and they didnt check IDs. =) but that place was filled with soo much smoke from cigarettes, it was hard to breathe @ first. so when we left @ 1230, the smell was soaked into my clothing; it was soo gross. for pool, mary and i played against winnie and jojo. haha. it was 75 cents to play and on the first shot, mary made the 8 ball in. so we had to play the green ball as the 8 ball. lol. ...so afterwards, bo, kenneth, winnie and i all stayed @ winnie's until 330 in the morning, when kenneth dropped me home... and the 2 guys just stayed @ winnies house cuz they didnt even feel like driving home lol

friday night, went to daisy's sweet 16 dance/party thing...it was fun. (it was sooooo fancy..but i guess thats to be expected; it IS a sacred heart sweet 16 party after all) so as we were walking in, all these security ppl were checking our stuff, makin sure we were "safe" but tony had his pocket knife with him (as he alwayz does) lol. but they missed it. haha. i wonder what they woulda said if they actually discovered it...during the dance, bo and danny just kinda stood there "like 2 pillars" - daisy.

saturday night, went to mary's house for our get-together party (and like...EVERYONE was there)...played spades, FINALLY played mao. haha its really fun...seeing all the ppl get penalties and everything. lol... ~ now i owe danny $1...for saying that wash st. would beat vand. -.-''

MARDI GRAS BREAK!!
wow..soo much has happened this week. it'll be amazing if i remembered everything..but let's try anywayz (since i have nothing better to do)

umm..i got back friday (big thanks to danielle!)..

saturday
we had this huge chinese new year party @ my house. i swear ive never seen that many kids packed into my brother's room b4, all staring @ the video game screen.

sunday
..was church...and i dont remember if we did anything afterwards...oh yeah..i recieved $40 from my parents for chinese new years. (not like i need any more $$) but red bags are awesome!

monday
.. went to the airline dmv to take the test for my license. they wouldnt let me take the test cuz the picture on my greencard wasnt updated. MEANING... i waited for 2 hours for NOTHING. then later on...tony, winnie, daisy, tong, damon and i went to play tennis.. we ACTUALLY played tennis for about 1.5hrs. the OTHER 1.5 hrs we were on the courts, we kinda just sat in a circle on the tennis court talking... and then we played some vball..haha damon insisted we learn MAO, w/e that is. he said the only rule he could tell us was that he couldnt tell us the rules. oooo..then we played SNAPS =) i love that game!! even tong was confused! lol. after that, we gathered @ my house and played gov't. ppl stayed until 1, which was when tony had to leave, meaning damon had to leave. and there goes our night.

tuesday
...didnt go to any parades. i think theyre a waste of time..

there was supposed to be something @ danny's house..and my parents were gunna play gov't and i wanted to go. but tong invited me to go eat dinner with him, lily, mahe, and dionne. we went to sake cafe. =)

hmm..afterwards was..my house. winnie was already inside my house when i arrived home lol. we asked danny if he wanted to come; it took winnie forever to convince him to come. tony couldnt come since the day b4, he stayed out too late and his parents wont let him go out (or they will and then just disown the next day). so lily dropped tong and mahe home; daisy and winnie stayed at my house.

and it took lily and i a while to find danny's house. we mapquested it..but the path it gave us was blocked..so we had to go around..and down to canal blvd. and once on canal blvd, lily drove on the wrong side of the median lol (we didnt notice until lily was like "hmmm, why are all the parked cars facing us?") lucky there were no cars around and it was pretty dark so no1 could see. lol. so yeah...we hung out until 12...didnt do much..played ERS and 13. etc. card games. and girl talk (which made danny a little uncomfortable lol). afterwards, lily drove danny home (thanks lily!! youre soooo awesome!)

wednesday
..went to the westbank dmv. they let me take the test even w/o an updated picture. i took the writing test, passed the sign test but then failed the other one (wth). my dad was all like "how the heck did you fail?!" but later that day my dad took me driving @ the church's parking lot. i swear i went around that circle 23904830 times. then @ night, when there wasnt too many cars around, i drove on power, then vintage..then turn, turn, u turn, etc etc. went around that circle various times too.

yeah..and i almost ran over this kid riding on his bike. i backed out of the driveway, and right when i was about to go foward, my dad was like "STOP STOP STOOOPP!!" i was like "huh?" and then i saw this guy zoom across on his bike. then my dad kinda gave me a lecture on always looking b4 you drive. w/e. i swear that kid was looking for his own death. **and mikey keeps on pointing out the fact that i drove illegally.

@12, i called mikey, we rambled on for 2hrs and 10 min. lol. and then my phone decided to run outta battery. (and we were gunna break his record of 3hrs10min on the phone too). oh well. so i went online to leave a message on his myspace telling him that my phone ran outta battery and the only charger was in my parents' room and they were sleeping...but then my computer decided to overheat and shut down on me right as i was typing the comment. by then i was like "i think god's telling me to go to sleep." so i got in bed. after 10 min, i picked up my phone again cuz there should be SOME battery left. and there was. so i was planning texting mikey about what happened. but then right in the middle of my text, my phone decided to run outta battery AGAIN!! by then i figured out, god REALLY wanted me asleep....

thursday
...woke up @ 8 to go to oschner's to get some shots and a physical done.

then went to the westbank dmv. retook the test (haha daisy!!! i got your "white cane" question lol) but when i was about to take the driving test, they said that our car needed to have louisiana insurance, and it has ohio insurance. MEANING...i waited 2 hours for NOTHING.. (sound familiar?) so i ended up just getting a permit.

i called tony a few times just to find out if he had any plans for today, but he seems that he was bored as well. then, i got home..watched the ep 1-2 of the new season of Naruto w/ my brother. then watched hana yori dango 2 ep 7. ate dumplings for dinner yummm.. my mom's dumplings are soo awesome. and everyone agrees =)

soo tong's in boston visiting harvard and MIT. and i told him to go to porter square to buy me some more japanese magazines. =)

now...what awaits me tomorrow?...

we won SLAM!!! =) its Schools of Louisiana Arkansas and Mississippi. basically we compete in 10 different sports with schools like ours in different states...texas bailed out at minute (it was supposed to be slamt)

volleyball - 1st
boys basketball - 1st
girls basketball - 1st
tennis - 1st
ping pong - 1st
billards - 1st
chess - 1st
duathalon - 2nd
soccer - 3rd
ultimate frisbee - 1st

overall - 1st !!! =)

i think the best moments was winning vball...cuz it was us against arkansas 1-1. and during the 3rd game..the score was 16-14.. (3rd game play to 15, win by 2) it was sooo nerve recking...and also when i ran up to everyone telling them shane and i won our doubles tennis match (MS and LA already each had 4 wins and our doubles match was the deciding match). making it our 6th first place...so we were jumping up and down in the middle of the street. and mikey told me "pinky, you just won SLAM for us." that felt sooo good (even if it wasnt true =p).

and at the award ceremony cody and i got MVPs for lousisana. 1st and 2nd place get trophies (poor soccer) aaaaanndd we get the big traveling trophy!! =)
